AFC List Tournament Help and Updates

Greetings to All Az Fencing Members:
November 15, 2006

 

First let me extend congratulations to all our fencers who participated at
the NAC in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  We are so proud of each and every one
of you.  It was an extremely difficult event.  We would like to recognize
Jana Arredondo who took 32 in the Junior Women's Epee, an earned her "D".

 

Upon another note we would like to address the fact that one of our Coaches
was unable to attend the tournament. AFC has worked very hard in the past to
ensure that the coaches were at the tournaments. This was done thru fund
raising.  AFC needs your help in this area, if there are any members or
parents that can help to organize and plan fund raisers please contact me at
602 432 5989.  Our plan is to make sure our fencers have their coach at the
next NAC.  

 

We do have a fence-a-thon planed by Meg.  This is usually a big event which
will benefit our fencers. We will let everyone know when this is planed. We
look forward to working toward a very fun year.
